Voyage of Exploration

Today I wrote a summary about Voyage of exploration. I think the purpose of the author writing this article is to help kids learn how to classify and to find out what new species there are in New Zealand. I learned how to classify deep sea creature in our oceans and seas. I also learned what new types of species we have beneath the surface.

Pretest Science

Today we started our science topic. I sat an online test to capture what I already knew about classifying animals. I think I've got questions wrong in the test that I need to learn. I pretty sure I did well with classifying Mammals, but not so much Amphibians.

Do you have healthy teeth?

In my class we are doing explanation writing on teeth. I learnt what will happen when you do not brush your teeth and what to do to try and prevent unhealthy teeth. I also learnt what happens when you get cavities, tooth decay and gingivitis. I am working on putting additional phrases and dependent phrases in my writing.

Do you want to learn long division?

In my class we are learning how to do long division. Long division is really easy for me but I'm glad I made a poster. I also learnt how to post screencastifys on my blog.
