Our Class Hakari

2 weeks ago my class and I had a class hakari. We were learning more and more Te Reo Maori by the day. I had a lot of fun eating.

Kapa Haka Reflection

Last week on Friday from year 1 to 6 performed at the memorial hall. It was my favourite performance even though I went to Te Taitokerau Festival to perform. I was a bit scared at first but I did try my best.

Our Puketi Forest trip

This term my class and I went on a trip to Puketi Forest. We were learning about the classification system and how it works. We also found out more types of moss and ferns it was fun.

Technology Week is over

This week we went to Waitangi Museum to learn more about different types of technology. We a variety of technical tools. My favourite technology was obviously the virtual reality. I learned how to use all the different apps and technology like Paint 3D, Tinkercad, Sculpt GL, Virtual Reality, Stop Motion, Green Screen, and the Dash Robots. I would like to start using Paint 3D in class.

Kupu Kai

Today we are having a hakiri (feast). We have been learning some words and sentences in Maori. Here I have made some slides with my team. It has Maori and English words and sentences.

A broken family gets back together

For a few weeks, I have been doing a narrative. I learnt about what figurative language was like similes, hyperboles and more. My class and  I even made a song about it.
