Last week a group of girls from years 7 and 8 went to Whangarei to play Volleyball. I was part of the group of girls who went to represent not only the school but Jesus in Whangarei. I had heaps of fun playing volleyball and I think everyone else really enjoyed it too. We won 3 games and lost one game to Te Kapehu Whetu (TKW). I would like to thank Komene Marino for training us when we had the time and Whaea Matekino Rakete for supporting and transporting us to Whangarei to play. I look forward to hopefully play in a few more weeks in a boys and girls tournament.
What a good post Kuini. I agree with you on the social dynamics of the team play makes the game fun and never boring. Uplifting teammates is so important especially when the game is not going your way. Doing your best to work together moment by moment. Keep practicing that serve ;)
